As a current Dakota Mailing customer, we are reaching out to let you know that your current postage meter is not USPS IMI-compliant and the USPS will decertify your machine as of June 30, 2024. Our new replacement machines are digitally connected and comply with the 2024 USPS regulations.
Why do I have to replace my Postage Meter if it’s not USPS IMI-Compliant?
Postage meters that are analog machines with older technology will need to be replaced with advanced IMI technology that will provide more detailed real-time transaction data, enabling the USPS to automate operations, employ better security standards, and ensure correct postage is applied.
When should you replace your current postage machine?
The best time to do it is now, before the May – June rush
